Dear customer,
AUDACES, in its capacity as the developer and copyright holder of the software and hardware for the AUDACES SUPERA Coprocessor, has discontinued the sale of this device since 2022 and ANNOUNCES that, as of February 27, 2023, the technical support and commercialization of the Audaces Supera Coprocessor for processing Audaces Marker files will be officially terminated and become irrevocable.
Audaces makes higher versions of the Audaces Supera Coprocessor available to its customers and users, which are already on the market for purchase and upgrading, with the processing named Audaces Supera Max.
Audaces Supera Coprocessor will no longer be sold
The discontinuation of the Audaces Supera Coprocessor is protected by the Software Act, the Copyright Act, the Intellectual and Industrial Property Act, and the International Copyright Act. (L n. 9.609/98 art. 8, L n.9.610/98, art. 7, XII c/c 24, I, VI, c/c 27, 28, 30 and 37; EC Software Directive of 14 May 1991, 91/250/EEC, published in the Official Journal of the EEC dated 5/17/91, L122/42).
It should be noted that the Audaces Supera Coprocessor software and hardware are, and always have been, property of AUDACES, a non-transferable property right due to its legal nature.
As such, Audaces only makes a LICENSE TO USE available to customers and users, which can be revoked at any time by the copyright holder. This license does not transfer property, only authorizing the use of the copyright and intellectual product of others, and prevents the sale, alienation, transfer, or donation to third parties, as provided in specific laws and even in the license agreement of use.
In the event of burning, loss, misplacement, theft, or any kind of defect or damage to these supplies, AUDACES will not be able to replace or compensate the user in any way, as they are no longer produced and sold. It is the user’s responsibility to choose not to update the system and hardware versions.
The consumer’s rights have been fully guaranteed through prior communication of the discontinuation. Due to the legal nature of the goods in question and the provisions of a specific law, discontinuation is fully permissible, provided that the user has been notified beforehand, as AUDACE has done.
